The technological singularity is the hypothetical arrival of general or strong artificial intelligence. Is that computer equipment, computer network, or robot might be able to improve themselves recursively, it is said that repetition of this cycle probably would lead to a runaway effect, in what could be considered as an explosion intelligence, to design intelligent machines where generations of increasingly intelligent machines, creating superior intelligence and therefore escape human control.

The approach in this article is that the "intelligence explosion" should not frighten us, because that explosion  started from the big bang and could no longer simply have a biological, or put another way route, which is part transhumanism the natural process of improvement.

We are already a biological machine

If we analyze ourselves or any living thing on earth, we can see that at the molecular level are already machines. This idea came to me through Drew Berry with CGI visualizations showing us such machine which DNA is replicated and improved our design as living beings.

 


Now if we look at a simple machine or inclined plane or a lever and is a somewhat simpler machine but when meeting with other machines, more inclined planes, we can perceive a seemingly complex behavior, such as "walkers ramps".

 

Another example of this same and more elaborate machines are the living Theo Jansen, this artist / researcher who gifted us with their creations that are just a little more complicated machines that walker ramps, using, inclined planes, pulleys, levers, candles, mechanical energy storage, and perceive more as like a living being.

 
 
So, is it so important that evolution continues either with the organic molecule or mechanisms of metals, silicon, plastic? Finally at the molecular scale we are exactly the same.

This is on the understanding that we accept the idea of evolution, and also take into account those who even exposure of this idea, rather than reassuring, and it just gonna get worse, sorry, that's not my intended for those people so pessimistic remind you that just a biological mechanism can do good or evil, so a mechanism that works based on other materials or forces.



Once exposed all these concepts will integrate, one of many ways in which researchers are looking artificial intelligence is in machine learning, a concept I understand how very similar to developments in this method is about having a simulator a universe (very simplified) and configure everything for a simulated within that same universe being can automatically learn to survive and improve in this simulation, generating new and improved versions of itself.



At the end i want also to note is that in fact neither need leaders reassure ones because at least Elon and Bill are investing in their companies just to advance this artificial intelligence itself, but the confusion created because of that most of us only read the news headlines and we did not notice or read the full notes, and for the general public make a call to be aware that fear is used to draw attention and to thank those leaders they are demonstrating their concern that drive careful development of artificial intelligence.
